Great location in the centre of Nuuk. Lovely décor throughout the hotel. Our Polar room was very comfortable and clean and there were lovely treats on arrival plus dressing gowns. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choices of fruit. Only negative is that their smoking room is inside the hotel and the smoke gets into the vents and can be smelled throughout the hotel corridors. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

In the Heart of Nuuk i found a beautiful Hotel and it was very nice to saw the Nuuk City. As i want to make Activities The Whale Safari was more than a Trip to See Grönland by the Sea. The nice cool and fresh Weather gave me 3 times to do this activity.

Hotel in a very convenient location in central Nuuk. Very nice restaurant on 4th floor with good views overlooking the city. Food was good and well presented and the wine list reasonable. Breakfast had a good selection and would satisfy most tastes. Room was well appointed and bed comfortable. Would stay there again.

This hotel is in the centre of Nuuk the check in was fast and most efficient and I was impressed as it was only 10am - my room was on the 3rd floor and all the restaurants are on the 5th floor - and these are first class - the B/fast offerings are very good as is the Fish Restaurant- this while a little dated a very good quality hotel where I would be happy to return

They just seemed a bit disorganised. We had paid for a Polar Room and about two hours after we arrived two housekeepers came to put the Polar "special items" in our room. Well, of course by that stage we'd opened up our large suitcases and had stuff everywhere, so the little treats, slippers and robes and things didn't look quite the same in the room as if they'd been there when we arrived. Our room was way at the end of a hallway and they kept leaving the cleaner's trolley outside our door. The room temperature could not be altered so it was quite stuffy. Breakfast was ok. I was able to get decaffeinated coffee one morning after much explanation about what decaf was, but the next morning, no-one could understand me, nor could they find the coffee bottle I'd used the day before. My husband became unwell on the Friday afternoon and we must thank Kasper on the front desk for trying to help us get a taxi to the hospital. No taxi came though, and we eventually just stood out on the street and got one ourselves. Nuuk is a small town and the taxis did seem to be busy at that time of day. Across the road are a couple of supermarkets, a small shopping mall (the Nuuk Center) and some eating places, very convenient.
